Successful First International Flight for Solar Impulse

Providenciales Airport – The Weekend Photos

There was an addition of three more flights to the peak hours of 1 – 4 p.m. JetBlue with two flight and Continental with one. Seaplanes are making a comeback, thanks to the Dornier Seastar ALL-COMPOSITE amphibious flying boat. The Seastar CD 2 aircraft is powered by two inline Pratt & Whitney PT-6 turboprop engines. It features state-of-the-art cockpit avionics, exterior and interior design, layouts, accessories, and comfort systems.
